Our cheque cashing charges

We charge a cheque cashing fee that depends on the face value of the cheque – call your local store for a quote.

If the cheque does not clear the bank then you are responsible and will have to pay an administration fee of £25 per cheque, and repay the face value. In the very unlikely event that this happens we will help you to recover the money from the business that gave you the cheque.

We want your visit to your local H&T branch to be a worthwhile one, so please bring with you the required ID. With all items please bring originals, photocopies are not acceptable.

• Letter detailing your address - dated within the last three months such as a gas bill, tenancy agreement or catalogue statement
• Item with your signature and/or photographic ID - such as a passport or drivers licence

• Recommend a friend - If you have a friend who you think could benefit from one of our offers, then print off the recommend a friend vouchers and you could earn up to £10 cashback!
